In collaboration with the Senior Management team, the Sr.
Director of Marketing will lead the overarching marketing and user growth strategy for Flocabulary.
In this role you will manage our growing and talented Marketing team, and report to the CEO.
You will relentlessly focus on growth, owning top stages of our funnel (awareness, lead gen and acquisitions) while still maintaining visibility across the funnel into the later stages (of conversion and renewal), driving demand and understanding what makes our customers successful.
You will run experiments to measure and optimize user acquisition, conversion rates and other key growth metrics.
You will create hypotheses, design experiments, analyze results, and deliver key insights and recommendations to the Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing organizations.
In short, you will leave no stone unturned when it comes to using sophisticated data analysis to optimize the top of Flocabulary’s funnel.
Manage directors of content marketing, lead generation and conversions to optimize performance and alignment of each function with the overall growth objectivesOwn and optimize the top stages of our funnel (awareness, lead gen and acquisition) while still maintaining visibility across the funnel into the later stages (of conversion and renewal): develop strategies to build user awareness and then convert them into long-term customersIdentify which key marketing metrics correlate best with revenue by designing and carrying out tests and analysesCreate recommendations for where the marketing budget should be allocated to drive growthWork closely with Product team to drive product updates and innovations that result in improved user acquisition, conversion, and retentionBuild and maintain relationships with internal business partners (Product, Engineering, Content, Sales, Customer Success) and work effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced environmentTravel as needed for focus groups, conferences, events, and school visits to inform strategyREQUIREMENTS
