Who You Are:

Dimagi is looking for an exceptional engineering manager to join our Boston team.

This role will involve managing deliverables, timelines, and execution for technical features.

As an engineering manager you are also an individual who thrives in enabling the growth of others and is excited about processes and change that can lead to improvements that allow Dimagi to deliver impact around the world.

The ideal candidate prefers small organizations to large ones, multi-tasking to single project assignments, and significant interaction with multiple types of roles within Dimagi.

We view our culture as one of our great assets, and culture fit is as important to us as technical expertise.

We are specifically looking for an engineering manager to:

Manage a team of engineers to enable their potential and help shape the growth of the team while also ensuring timely execution of team deliverables
Work with the VP of Engineering to uncover and improve team pain points with workflows and processes in a data driven manner
Work with project managers to make resourcing decisions about where to apply engineering time based on project priority and deadlines
Coordinate between engineers and requirements owners to determine estimates and execution time frames
Lead management of our 3rd party development partners to implement custom and core features on our products and internal software systems
Manage Dimagi development of key internal software systems

We strive to offer the best benefits possible, including comprehensive health insurance, a matching 401k, stock options, 30 days of paid time off, 10 personal initiative days, the opportunity to travel internationally, and a flexible schedule.

Given our social mission, our salary scale is more in-line with that of an NGO.

While Dimagi may not be the right fit if income is your primary goal, for the right candidate and our existing team, the combination of mission, work, lifestyle, and compensation make a great package.
