Full Time: JavaScript Web Application Developer at GoMoto in Philadelpia, PA

GoMoto is a progressive automotive startup that seeks an enthusiastic and experienced web application developer to support the expansion of our cloud platform that serves a nationwide client base.

Essential responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and providing technical support for internal teams.

Technical Requirements


2+ years of JavaScript web application development with specific knowledge of AngularJS.
Hands-on experience with RESTful API development, integration, and architectural style.
Solid understanding of MVC design, popular JavaScript libraries and frameworks, HTTP protocol and asynchronous request handling.
Experience working within an Agile-centric development environment.
Comfort working in both Linux/Unix and Windows-based environments.
Familiarity with version control tools (Github).
Experience with cross-platform wrapper frameworks such as PhoneGap and Electron preferred.
Experience with ORM (specifically Django) preferred.
Experience with AWS cloud-based infrastructure (EC2, S3) preferred.


Responsibilities and Qualifications


Analyze, implement, test, release, and support code and scripting to drive components for provided responsive HTML5 and CSS3.


Ability to take a project from inception to completion as the primary responsible party.
Knowledge of what it takes to excel in a startup with demonstrated ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure from multiple competing deadlines.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to quickly learn new technical skills and find or utilize new tools.
Strong independent problem solving and analytical skills.
Previous experience focusing and thriving in a remotely dispersed work environment (with scheduled monthly in-person work sprints).
Flexibility to provide off-hour support on a rotational, as needed basis.


Compensation
$65,000-$70,000 annually depending on experience, benefits include healthcare, 401k and more.
