About Security Engineering at CircleCI
Security Engineering at Circle works closely with our product owners, operations, and engineering teams to ensure the practices and systems across our entire platform are complying with our security policies.
You will also provide ongoing technical leadership for our internal practices and our outside vendor relationships, including working to coordinate engineering support for our regular third-party security testing, owning our bug bounty program, and being our technical liaison to the broader security community.
We need your help to identify security concerns and come up with workable solutions in and among our complex set of services at a large and growing scale for an international customer base of tens of thousands of software developers who rely on us to reliably and securely run their build, test, and deployment 24/7/365.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, including the trade-offs required to ship working solutions at scale while maintaining good security practices
Significant experience in Linux system administration, container-based compute fleets, and network engineering.
Ideally, experience with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure providers
Desire to work on one of the world's largest Clojure apps - or the aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to evaluate security vulnerabilities and provide the key input for triaging, solving, and communicating issues as they arise
Velocity is critical for software teams in today's competitive landscape, but maintaining speed can be difficult as apps and systems grow larger and more complex.
