(New York City) Position Summary: Are you interested in using your engineering and data skills to make a difference? Do you want to make healthcare work the way it should? As a Software Engineer at MediQuire, you’ll work with our customer base of Medicaid-focused healthcare providers building the largest database of medical, financial and social data for the Medicaid population in order to improve healthcare outcomes and reduce costs for some of the poorest patients across the United States.

You will be able to work closely with and learn from seasoned professionals including our Chief Technology Officer who previously worked in two successful start-ups that got acquired, our VP of Product who previously worked at Valence/ Evolent Health and Truven and our Chief Data Scientists who joined us from Medidata.

Experience: 2-5 Years Responsibilities: Contribute to new product development efforts with goals of reliable delivery, high quality and technical excellenceAssist data engineers launching and automating new customer implementationsThrive in a startup environment where you are expected to wear multiple hats and quickly learn new things (engineering, cloud, automation) Requirements: Programming languages and concepts including: NET C#, Entity Framework, OOP & SOLID principles, SQL.
Familiarity with front end technologies such as Angular.Methodologies including Agile product development and Test Driven DevelopmentExcellent team player interested in rapid innovation and applied development of technology products and servicesCritical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to focus on detailsNice to have:Knowledge of ETL (e.g.
SSIS, Scriptella, etc.), Big Data (e.g.
