We are looking for you, if you're an experienced and talented, QA engineer with the capacity to develop complex automated testing scripts against eCommerce websites and RESTful APIs, Selenium, PhantomJS, Node.js and other technologies as needed.Primary duties for this role are:
Help our clients design and build reusable automated test suites against Salesforce Commerce Cloud (a.k.a.
Demandware) sites, using open-source Web testing tools and available RESTful APIs for test setup.
Set standards for QA automation within our organization and for our clients.
Participate in conference call meetings, track your time, work through tickets assigned to you within a Jira instance.
Working remotely with a distributed team including client representatives, maintaining good communication and availability during business hours.
Self-starting, self-motivating personality.
With great freedom comes great responsibility.
Have spent most of your career in QA, Web development, or some mix of the two
Have significant experience developing automated tests and testing plans
Are very skilled with Selenium WebDriver, PhantomJS, and other web testing tools, coded UI testing, cross-browser testing, cross-platform testing, and at least one cross-platform scripting platform/language
Are somewhat familiar working within CMS/e-Commerce platforms, like Sitecore, Adobe, Magento, etc.
Are knowledgeable about internationalization and localization impacts on testing and regression
Are excited to play a critical role in driving continuous quality on high-profile eCommerce sites.
Red Van Workshop is a distributed company, so your geographic location within the USA is not critical: your office is your choice.
Occasional travel availability to client locations is necessary, however, so reasonable proximity to an airport with good commercial service is required.
