Remote Year: Ambassador Coordinator

We are looking for a hungry, go-getter that is looking for the opportunity to help build a word-class Ambassador Program at Remote Year.

This role will be pivotal in recruiting, training and on boarding amazing Ambassadors from around the world.

They will also manage strategic projects that are tied to the growth of the program.Assist with recruiting, hiring and training of future AmbassadorsHelp conduct interviewsManage onboardingHost Kickoff CallsRun training programs and classesWork with Ambassadors on drafting event plansAnswer questions during onboarding processGive access to tools during/after onboarding process (Academy, Slack, Facebook Group, Marketing Folder)Manage an active roster of new Ambassadors.

Make recommendations for improvements to tools and processesGenerate weekly status reportsMake strategic recommendations for Ambassador Program growthShare appropriate content for Ambassadors through social media channelsManage marketing content and collateral database for AmbassadorsResearch events for Ambassadors to attend in marketsAssist Ambassadors in the planning and promotion of local marketing eventsIdentify key location partnerships in marketCoordinate with local team and manage event planDrive event marketing initiativesOther duties as assigned in support of the Remote Year teamQualitiesPassion for the cause – we need to get every potential Remote excited about the unique way that we are changing the world and you are the face of thisPassion for travel – role will require physical presence on a Remote Year program (contingent on performance)Ownership – we don’t like micromanaging; we expect dedication and ownershipOrganization skills – great time management skills, ability to multitaskInterpersonal skills - this role is responsible for quickly conveying the Remote Year brand and experience to potential Remotes
