The role:We are looking for a smart and driven Product Manager to work hand in hand with our talented architects and development teams to drive the strategy and success of our REST API and Secure Tunneling capabilities.

What you’ll own:Leadership of agile cross-functional teams to bring new features and services to market.

As the product owner you are responsible for the success and quality of the features and services your team delivers Defining product strategy and build business cases for new servicesAuthoring roadmaps, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria to clearly define and communicate new services and featuresDrafting metrics to ship with your features to measure usage and other success indicators, monitor those metrics, and determine if the work is successful or requires changesCollaboration with Product Marketing to prepare release and launch materials, author announcement blog posts, and host webinars when appropriateActing as the voice of the customer for your area of responsibility.

Building deep customer understanding via meetings, surveys, analytics, beta testing and usability researchBuilding awareness of market, technology and competitive trends.

Prepare detailed competitive analysis and benchmarking
Our ideal candidate has:2+ years of software product management experienceComputer Science degree or professional experience as a software engineerAbility to weigh technical trade-offs and have in-depth discussions with engineers on the nuances of complex web and distributed systemsAbility to decompose user challenges and translate into product solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively address technical and non-technical audiences both internally and externallyStrong understanding of agile development philosophies and best practicesPersuasive presentation skills; you are comfortable in front of groups, and can successfully influence audiences Nimble and adaptive; you can stay on your feet when the ideal scenario slips away, make the right tradeoffs at the right time, and deliver on the primary goalsAble to balance multiple, sometimes conflicting prioritiesEntrepreneurial and self driven, you thrive on solving problems, are proactive, and excel at knocking down any barriers to success
