They also demonstrate an ability to work across a range of project types from product to brand, including concept and design for new product features, development of prototypes that clarify interaction and functionality, as well as providing graphic design support for brand related projects.Position description.Thanx is growing on the heels of our Series B and we're adding an Experience Designer to our creative team.
A primary focus for this position will be for the design of our core products.

This requires experience in product design across multiple touch points: mobile, web, iOS, Android, email, and more.


In addition to leading our product through excellent experience design, this role requires solid skills in graphic design for the Thanx brand as well as design support for our merchant partners.
Areas of Responsibilities.Be a design voice for our product design language, exploring systems, patterns, and interface components for use throughout our user experiences.
Partner with our Creative Director, Head of Product (a co-founder), and engineers to conceptualize, design, build, and extend our products.
Partner with our Creative Director to design and support brand efforts.
Approach design problems conceptually with a constant desire to innovate.
Exhibit a high level of professionalism, with the ability to consistently and effectively communicate with project teams throughout all stages of design.
Explore ways to optimize our product by analyzing customer behaviour and conducting customer research.
Required skills and qualifications.

Design and craft.

Successful candidates should demonstrate a good understanding of visual systems and be able to see the big picture—but still get excited about small details and micro interactions.
Have a portfolio showcasing innovative product and interaction design solutions.
Demonstrate strong skills and understanding in product and interaction design.


Have strong skills and understanding in graphic design and typography.
Possess a high level of proficiency with current design tools and software applications.
Be passionate about mobile development best practices and standards (iOS/Android/web).

Prototyping skills.Successful applicants value prototyping and understand that it can be done at many fidelities during a project, and they have experience producing this work.

They understand that validating ideas through design is an ideal way to clarify ideas, gain understanding, and move forward.
03 Team skillsSuccessful applicants believe that better work is done through collaboration, and have an understanding that collaboration is necessary to innovate.

They are passionate about learning through consistent iterative feedback.
3-5 years experience as a designer in user experience and graphic design.Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, interaction design, or a related design discipline, or equivalent real world experience.


Additional skills which are a definite plus.Experience creating design prototypes with tools like Origami Studio.
Motion design and video editing.
Print design experience.
