Full Time: Solutions Engineer at GitHub in Remote

Full Time: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at TigerText in Santa Monica, CA, US

The primarily responsibilities will be evaluating test results, preparing change requests, and generating measures to ensure the highest level of product quality.The SDET will work cross-functionally with an integrated team of developers, product managers, product owners, and system analysts for test planning, test development, and product validation. Responsibilities Include: Identifying, logging, tracking, and reporting software bugs Defining, developing, maintaining, and executing the automation of test scripts utilizing the Appium framework and other scripting languages for projects and/or maintenance items Keeping management informed and updated on a feature's progress Striving to ensure that User Stories and/or system requirements are satisfied for internal and external application users Ensuring that project and release testing is complete, and that testing risks are identified prior to implementation Managing defects from identification to closure through the Software Development Life Cycle Creating detailed test cases derived from analyzing source code Conducting feasibility studies on comprehensive test plans that drive the automation strategy Conducting test-leveling exercises to determine the best test layer to secure code quality Performing minimal manual testing (this role requires coding) Thoroughly and accurately documenting all QA work done Requirements: At least 3 years of full-time, hands-on SDET experience in an agile environment Proven expertise in mobile testing, development and software design is required; solid working knowledge of JUnit, Javascript, Python, Perl, Selenium, and SQL Experience with iOS Provisioning and build settings + strong programming knowledge in Objective C (Swift is a plus) Experience with XCTest on iOS and Espresso on Android Familiarity with build tools such as Gradle, Android Studio and XCode Knowledge of QA methodologies including functional, performance, regression, black-box, and white-box testing Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, QA, or IT preferred Experience working in an Agile development environment preferred Passion for writing code in Java, C++ or any other Object Oriented language Experience in LINUX/UNIX and any scripting language (Ruby / Perl / Python) Conceptual knowledge of basic data structures (such as describing a stack) Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Hands-on, proactive, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Energy and positivity to instill into the TigerText culture Healthcare, SaaS, or Enterprise industry experience is a plus THE COMPANY:TigerText provides secure, real-time mobile messaging for the enterprise, empowering organizations to work more securely…
